"When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home."- Chief Tecumseh
PRINTS Chief #TECUMSEH #POEM FROM ACT OF VALOR MOVIE #Inspiration Many of the visitors have been asking me if they can buy a print or some kind of wall hanging of the poem to hang on their walls in their home or office. So after many requests I contracted with the design team at OxRun LLC to come up with something that is beautiful and respectful of Chief Tecumseh, the poem and the movie.
Chief Tecumseh Poem – Act of Valor Movie “So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view, and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and its purpose in the service of your people..."

Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and its purpose in the service of your people. Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide...... (read on) ~ Chief Tecumseh (Poem from Act of Valor the Movie)

Okay, forget the girly font. This is a Southern credo. Southerners aren't being fake, we just know that in polite society you aren't just outright rude to someone, just because you don't like them.
Remember This, Be Nice, Sotrue, Truth, Some People, My Life, Well Said, So True, Quotes Sayings
There's definitely some truth to this one. I like the word "dislike" vs. "hate" because I definitely don't think I "hate" ANYONE who I know. Everyone, just be NICE!
Be nice, be mature enough to tolerate your dislikes towards some people...you'll be surprise and find out in the end that you like them :)
So true. It's so difficult to be nice to someone you don't like. But it's better that way. Kill them with kindness! :)
"Have you ever been accused of being fake simply because you were nice to someone you don't like or who doesn't like you? Why do some people expect us to be nice ONLY to the people who we like and the people who are nice to us? I guess it doesn't occur to them that some of us love ourselves enough to NOT spend our days holding grudges and drowning in negative thoughts and emotions....so true (just a few weeks)
Well said. You can dislike someone and still be civil. That's a lesson some people need to learn.
This is SO true in my life right now!?! I'm not going to act like a 4 year old, just bc you do ;)

I would rather be ashes than dust. I would rather that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry-rot. This is a picture to show the perspective in the trenches in trench warfare. With mines, barb wire, motors, and constant gunfire this held nations to occupy or gain any land.
Trench warfare in WW1, this made it almost impossible for the germans to occupy France and other countries
The French's trench warfare was the main cause in Germany not being able to advance in to France and over throw the government. This made the German war plan impossibel to be successful. Which lead to Germany obviusly losing the War.
This photograph depicts French Trench warfare, which was introduced as a retaliation to German invaders. The French would build up mines, barbed wire and aim machine guns into "No Man's Land" and their base would be a trench from which they fought the onslaught.
Trench Warfare prevented territorial turn-over by setting up barbwire, mines, and machine guns.

(chapter 17) Things got tense when Cohn kept bugging me about where Brett was--like I was going to tell him. He called me a pimp, and I snapped. "I swung at him and he ducked...He hit me and I sat down on the pavement" (195). I was out cold for a moment. Edna was amused by the scuttle, and she even surmised that he is a boxer. (Chapter 17) Cohn is really getting on my last nerve. He keeps pestering me about Brett's whereabouts. Even Mike knows that she is off with Romero! Cohn knocked me out, finally his boxing past paid off, "I tried to get up and felt I did not have any legs. I felt I must get on my feet and try to hit him" (195). Of course, being the baby that he is, Cohn pitifully apologized. The next day I found out he did the same thing to Romero and Brett did not forgive him. Ha.
