Dan Carlin does an amazing job of bringing to life historic episodes and the people who define them. He touches on a wide swath of history ranging from the Punic Wars, WW2: Eastern Front to the Mongols. I was not blessed to have 20th century history in my school curricula growing up, so I learn more about that than anything else. However, all of the episodes are insightful and enjoyable and worth multiple listens.

How to Be a Girl is an audio podcast I produce about life with my six-year-old transgender daughter. It stars the two of us -- a single mom and a six-year-old "girl with a penis" -- as we attempt together to sort out just what it means to be a girl.

The Cracked Podcast - I enjoy the format and flow of this podcast, but the more I listened, the more I came to realize that it wasn't for me. I'm old enough to remember the facts about a lot of the things they talk about as if they are accepted theories of the past, and I just can't agree to see them that way. #StupidAdulthood
