GREAT idea for a privacy fence that's easier on the pocketbook. Lattice to the height you want and the solar lights gives it the finished look.

Cheap Garden fence idea ... The metal mesh is cattle panel. Strong enough to last and to pull growing ivy & vines off of.

Sand Cherry shrub/hedge- this just proves just how gigantic this plant can get! This plant can grow over 10 feet tall (but is usually 7-8 feet tall, with a 4-6 foot spread). Can be pruned to remain shorter, or can be used as a small tree, or a privacy wall without the use of a fence. I love the color of these!

Cheyenne privet. This fast growing hedge has glossy, deep green foliage that remains until late fall. Preferring full to partial sun, this fast growing hedge will grow into a heavily branched, dense plant, making it a very good windbreak or privacy screen. This fast growing hedge is hardy in zones four through eight.

I Like This - Wood pallets as fencing - Set them up nicely and add a dash of paint. This could work.
