How to Communicate with your 2-3 year old (especially when they don't listen!) - I actually read through all of these and they are great advice, especially the ones about keeping requests short and simple, rephrasing "no running" into "let's walk instead of run" so that "No" has more impact when you really need it, and using "when" instead of "if" to communicate you expect obedience. Good stuff!
Time to get rid of the binky? I've done this with both of my children and it has helped so much! Take them to Build A Bear Workshop and have them pick out a stuffed animal... put ALL their pacifiers inside the animal (one in the paws, feet and the rest in the tummy) so whenever your little one is wanting their binky- they can feel it inside them to comfort them a little =)
