Plastic spoons, plastic eggs, masking tape, and markers.  Homemade maracas!!!  First a craft, then a music maker.  Have each kid make two and then shake them at the same time...that gets BOTH sides of the brain chugging along!

For Cinco de Mayo in Kdg. - Plastic egg maracas - plastic easter eggs, fill them with what you want (candy, beans, etc.) 2 plastic spoons, wrap in colorful duct tape or plain masking tape and hand decorate.

Now that it's summer, I thought this one would be perfect for my 4 yr old....SAND & MAGNET CENTER. I'm alllll about innovative play withOUT the expense.....to keep kids happy AND busy. This blog is written by a pre-school teacher & has lots of good ideas~
