Chrysler building, NYC. Definitely the most beautiful building in NYC!
The Chrysler Building is an Art Deco style skyscraper in New York City, located on the east side of Manhattan in the Turtle Bay area at the intersection of 42nd Street and Lexington Avenue. At 1,046 feet (319 m), the structure was the world's tallest building for 11 months before it was surpassed by the Empire State Building in 1931. It is still the tallest brick building in the world, albeit with an internal steel skeleton

La tour Eiffel, 1889 by Georges Seurat. Apparently the style in which Seurat painted is known as pointillism and while I profess to know nothing about art, I can say I like the colours and the feeling of having texture this piece has. One of Seurat's most recognizable pieces is "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grand Jatte" which I have had the pleasure of seeing at the Chicago Institute Art where it is part of the permanent collection.

The 1924 American Standard Building at 40 West 40th Street by Raymond Hood & André Fouilhoux. The building was built in 1923-1924 for the American Radiator Co., a heater manufacturing company. The 36-story building had one of the first set-back pyramidal silhouettes in the city, and another influenced by Saarinen’s entry on the Chicago Tribune competition.

What a great way to use wasted space. I love built-in bookshelves anyway, and to use under the stairs for a reading nook, plus the drawers under the bed, brilliant idea.
If I cant have a library in our house, I'll settle for this cute reading nook! I'd call it my Book Nook.
If I cant have a library in our house, I'll settle for this cute reading nook as it uses space wisely and can also be a guest bed!
If we can't build our dream house until the kids are too old for the under the stairs play house than I would love this for that space. Even if the bed area were converted to an office nook.

Red House in Bexleyheath in southeast London, England, is a major building of the history of the Arts and Crafts style and of 19th-century British architecture. It was designed in 1859 by its owner, William Morris, and the architect Philip Webb, with wall paintings and stained glass by Edward Burne-Jones. Morris wanted a home for himself and his new wife, Jane Burden Morris. He also desired to have a "Palace of Art" in which he and his friends could enjoy producing works of art.
