Dry erase boards for students: CHEAP plastic plates from wal-mart work the same. Students bring in a dry erase marker and old sock to erase! - I think this would work good good in the car to keep the kids busy!

(Also try a Dad & Me, and- write, draw, etc)  Write notes back forth with your child. Leave it on their bed, when they have a chance, they write back and leave it on your bed. How neat would it be to have those notes to look back on? I can only imagine how special this will be!

Mommy and Me journal. Write letters back and forth, leave under pillows. very sweet idea and love the memento it would give you years down the road I did this with my mom and it is such a special keepsake! What a neat idea!
