Blessed Mother Mary
"O' remember O' most compassionate Virgin Mary, that never was it known, that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto you, O' Virgin of Virgins our Mother; to you I pray, before you I kneel sinful and sorrowful. O' Mother of the Word Incarnate, despire not my petitions, but in your clemency hear and answer them. Amen." (prayer card by pocketfullofmiracles, on Etsy)

Goddess Mary (Queen of heaven?) ~ Not hard to see where this idea came from, even the cross, which originated with the Tau representing Tammuz.(the deified Nimrod)
Catholic Father and blogger writes about finding out more about GirlScouts. "At the time I wrote my article, my daughter was still in GSUSA, but while our local leadership was good and she enjoyed it, the troubling materials coming from the national organization (and the knowledge that our dues were going to support WAGGGS) didn’t sit right with us. Faith -- Definitely a quote to live by!
Saw this quote in a house I was babysitting at on a night where I was wondering again - forgetting momentarily all I've learned - why life was so difficult. But faith does not make things easy. It makes them possible. And it's not about me anyway - it's all for Him.
So true! Please note, Luke 1:37 states For nothing is impossible with God. This is not a direct quote, it is a statement made upon that quote. God is so amazing.. It makes me smile listening to stories about how amazing He is an how He works in people's lifes.. Our God is greater!
Luke 1: 37~ ya gotta have faith!
I have this quote in my office. It's a good reminder of a BIG truth in life.

This is how it should be. But let us not forget also the REAL reason for the welcome: we ALL need Jesus. Those who feel alienated need Him as much as we do, & vice versa. Why we have dogma, doctrine, discipline, prayer, and ritual is so that we all can see Jesus more clearly and to know that He seeks us also; all the better to know, love, and serve Him and remain in Him. The Church gives us these things not to put us down, but so we can all have Jesus, and know more fully why we are all welcome.

Awesome church bulletin
I would really like to go to this church. The love of God must be overflowing in this place. THIS is what Jesus was talking about.
nice church photo
Jesus said, “Come to me all you who labor and are burdened” and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Parish really emphasizes the “all.” When you open their weekly bulletin this is what you’ll find: “We extend a special welcome to those who are single, married, divorced, gay, filthy rich, dirt poor, yo no habla […]

well put,the govt can use that money however they want to, and we don't have say in what it's used for.You really want to be charitable,do the work yourself or give $ only to entities that you know will hold the same values you do about what charity really is(wake up letting govt use tax dollar to "help" "poor" people get abortions free is NOT charity, it in effect makes them even more poor than they were before..giving them $ instead of ability to help themselves does not help them either)

Lord, teach me to be patient - with life, with people, and with myself. I sometimes try to hurry things along too much, and I push for answers before the time is right.
