This actually my favorite movie ever. "The Blind Side" - Christian Movie/Film on Blu-ray with Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw. Check out Christian Film Database for more info - http://www.christianfilmdatabase.com/review/the-blind-side/
The Blind Side. Read the book also. It's a heart warming story. If you can suspend reality and believe that this kid went from being illiterate to getting into college by taking correspondence classes through the mail in a year, then this is a great movie for you. I just couldn't help thinking of all the NCAA violations they got away with to get him in school, even in Mississippi. But he's in the NFL now and by all accounts doing well, so it's all good I guess. Sandra Bullock is always good. 7
Academy Award for #sandrabullock in the Blind Side. Nice film.

Childhood memories .....
'Singin' in the Rain' - The 1952 film, directed by Stanley Donen and Gene Kelly, centers on Don Lockwood (Kelly), a silent-film star who finds his career threatened when movies switch to "talkies" and the voice of his female costar (Jean Hagen) could torpedo their newest film. To save their movie, Don, musician Cosmo (Donald O'Connor), and Don's girlfriend, Kathy (Debbie Reynolds), work to change the movie to a musical, with Kathy's skilled singing voice dubbing over that of Don's costar.

Paul Newman and Robert Redford set the standard for the "buddy film" with this box office smash set in the Old West. The Sundance Kid (Redford) is the frontier's fastest gun. His sidekick, Butch Cassidy (Newman), is always dreaming up new ways to get rich fast. If only they could blow open a baggage car without also blowing up the money-filled safe inside... Or remember that Sundance can't swim before they escape a posse by leaping off a cliff into rushing rapids... Times are
Might be my favorite movie. Yeah, it is.
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) ($12.05) - This movie has it all: a great story, superb acting, wonderful comedic moments, clever dialogue and fantastic character development. - Paul Newman and Robert Redford are an excellent duo. - This is by far the best western i have ever seen and one of the best overall films i have seen. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B004SEUJX2/electronicfro-20/ASIN/B004SEUJX2

Brian's Song... a true tear jerker… This was one of my favorite movies when I was growing up. 1976/1977
Brian's Song (1971) - story of courageous Brian Piccolo and friend Gayle Sayers, both playing for the Chicago Bears. This movie in my opinion is the greatest sports movie every made. For a number reasons.
Brian's Song (1971) The film is a tale of friendship, adversity, and very short shorts, which stars James Caan and Billy Dee Williams Together, they navigate the difficulties of interracial friendships and the rigors of a professional football season with a classiness and sophistication atypical of a movie made for television, even today.

One of my favorite movies! RIP Robin Williams
Good Morning, Vietnam is a 1987 American war-comedy film written by Mitch Markowitz and directed by Barry Levinson. Set in Saigon in 1965, during the Vietnam War, the film stars Robin Williams as a radio DJ on Armed Forces Radio Service, who proves hugely popular with the troops, but infuriates his superiors with what they call his "irreverent tendency". The story is loosely based on the experiences of AFRS radio DJ Adrian Cronauer.
I love this movie! "The wrong man. In the wrong place. At the right time." Robin Williams is a treat to watch as the wise-ass DJ, doing his bit in the wartime context. Sub-plots are also memorable | Good Morning, Vietnam (1987) | Genre: Comedy, Drama, War
Good Morning Vietnam. Robin Williams is great. The MUSIC is great and the cd was so much fun with all the extra Robin Williams stuff added to it.

As Good as It Gets (1997) -Simon Bishop: Okay... What I do is, I watch. Ever watch somebody who doesn't know you're watching them? An old woman sitting on a bus? Or kids going to school? Somebody just waiting, and you see this flash come over them. And you know immediately that has nothing to do with anything external because that hasn't changed. They're just sort of realer and more alive. You look at someone long enough, you discover their humanity.

As Good as It Gets (1997) When acerbic, reclusive and obsessive-compulsive author Melvin Udall (Jack Nicholson) lets stressed-out single mom and waitress Carol Connelly (Helen Hunt) and gay neighbor Simon Bishop (Greg Kinnear) and his dog into his life, profound changes await them all in this touching dramedy. Nominated for seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Screenplay, the film won Oscars for Nicholson's and Hunt's heartfelt performances.

Deliverance (1972) - what a movie, but it scared the heck out of me. Especially when we were camping in Virginia about a year after the movie came out.
Deliverance (1972) - "Squeal like a pig" and "He got a real pretty mouth ain't he?" with lines like these you have one hell of a brutal film.
I was all giddy with anticipation to watch Deliverance ... I loved the song "Dueling Banjos" as a kid and I remembered it was from the Deliverance soundtrack, so that would be one my reasons to finally watch the film ... Watching Deliverance to hear "Dueling Banjos" is like watching the Exorcist to hear "Tubular Bells!!!" I can only hope that Ned Beatty is still receiving royalties from that film!
