My bathtub has never been whiter!! Works great on glass shower doors too- no more soap residue! Martha Stewart's Tub Scrub--works better than any other cleaning product to get off hard water and soap residue. 1 cup baking soda, 1 teaspoon dish soap, enough water to make a paste.
I've done this before and it's time again: Wash your towels in hot water with a cup of vinegar, and then run again in hot water with a half-cup of baking soda. That will strip your towels from all of that residue and mildew smell and will actually leave them feeling fluffy and smelling fresh. (Do not add laundry detergent to either wash. DIY Oven Cleaner Make a paste from 5 tbsp baking soda, 4 tbsp vinegar, 5 drops dishwashing liquid, use sponge to coat inside of oven. Let sit for 15 min. Cut a lemon in half, coat with salt, drip 3 drops of dish liquid onto lemon half and scrub.
