This quote reminds me of Siddhartha because he lives a very minimalist life knowing that in order to reach his true self he has to rid himself of all pointless distractions.

Good thought, I have no doubt I will still buy things I don't absolutely need, but I buy a lot less of it these days. I find I measure my purchases a lot more carefully.

SWEDISH PROVERB "He who buys what he does not need steals from himself." Need to remember this.
