Make Clotted Cream (Slow Cooker Method)... from The Culinary Life. Since it takes 8-10 hours to make clotted cream, a slow cooker is SO much better than the oven (which is how most recipes make it)! Note: It's very important not to use ultra-pasteurized cream (I'll probably get mine at a natural foods store).
@Taylor Adachi let's use this recipe, actually I like this one better: 1 3 oz pkg cream cheese, softened 1/2 Tbl sugar dash salt 1/4 to 1/3 cup whipping cream In a medium-sized bowl, beat the cream cheese on high speed of an electric mixer until smooth. Add the sugar and salt. Gradually add the whipping cream and continue beating until mixture is stiff. Store in refrigerator.
