River Rock Ring
Sterling and a river rock. I had this great river rock and decided it needed a ring shank. Viola!
Square/Princess-Cut Stepped Bezel Ring
This ring was made for the Square/Princess-Cut Video series that I have on YouTube. Link is to the video on creating the ring. The setting video will be released soon(as of 11/9/22).
Mountain Road Side One
Finished this in April 2023. I've got about 20 drawings of roads I've taken or want to take. Hoping to make them all. This necklace has two sides. This side is the log cabins I've stayed or lived in. The piece is made entirely of sterling silver with pearls for the "leaves". Nancy LT Hamilton
Pod n Pearl
Sterling, sine silver, gold-filled, copper. Patterned copper. Pods stitched together with sterling wire and then soldered. Metal clay leaf. Sterling curled bail. Pearl.
Heart Blade Pendant
This pendant is built from .999 silver metal clay. The elements are either carved or patterned with pattern plates and then dried over custom molds. I'm creating a series of blade pendants that are loosely based on Victorian hat pins. I will be teaching a class on how to make this pendant sometime in March of 2024 at Chimera Art Space in Sebastopol, CA. Created Jan. 2024. Nancy LT Hamilton
Petals Brooch back
Sterling silver. See Petals Brooch for more information.
Swoop Ring
I made this ring for my second video on setting princess-cut/square stones. The ring shank was made about 5-6 years ago. I needed something to solder the square setting onto and saw this in my "waiting for ideas" ring box. Sterling and CZ. 12/2022.
Sword Pendants
Metal clay sword pendants. Carved, patterned, hollow construction.
Into the Woods
Sterling, fine silver, staurolite, petrified wood. The branches for this brooch were made using the 100 coats of metal clay slip method. You paint 100 coats over a natural object and then fire it. It's backed with sterling for strength. The petrified wood is rivet-set. Made 2018.
Into the Woods, Back
Sterling, fine silver, staurolite, petrified wood. The branches for this brooch were made using the 100 coats of metal clay slip. You paint 100 coats over a natural object and then fire it. It's backed with sterling for strength. The petrified wood is rivet set.
Wrapped Rings
I made these rings for my Wrapped Rings Project. Sterling silver. The more symetrical rings are made with patterned stock and the others were roller printed and randomnly wrapped.
Petal Brooch
Finished this in February 2023. Started it years ago! Made from sterling silver. This brooch started at as basic flower patterns and one day I started hooking the shapes together. I liked the results, so I soldered it together.
Mountain Road, Side 2
The other side of the Mountain Road necklace. This side shows those swaying fields of grass in the foothills. Part of the Journeys I've been on and the Journeys I've Yet to Take series. Sterling silver and pearls - lots of soldering! Hand-made chain.
Marquise Rings
These rings were designed for the video series I have on YouTube.
