Positive reinforcement - Put a cotton ball, marble, pom-pom, etc. in every time you catch your child being good. Do something special when it's full. This is exactly what I need instead of focusing on the bad.

What a great idea. Write a bunch of exercises (with reps) on popsicle sticks and put them in one cup. Whenever you have a chance, grab one, do what it says, and move the stick to the Done cup.

Quiet critters-when you decide it is important for students to be quiet pass out quiet critters- take them away from students who talk. At the end of the activity anyone who still has a quiet critter gets a prize, point, whatever you use. Brilliant!
