Movies I Love

Plenty of different genres will be included on this board. I really love action and fast-paced mystery films, but I also enjoy a great comedy, drama or romance - not to mention others that you'll see here. All of the comments and personal anecdotes are original to this board. Browse, re-pin, like, enjoy!

The Age of Adaline. This film tells the tale of a woman who has an accident in the late 1930s, but a lightening shock revives her ... and halts her aging process. When it became too difficult to hide, she goes on the run, changing her life and her identity every decade. Blake Lively shone in this film (and that might surprise anyone who didn't like her on Gossip Girl). I was right to be excited when I saw the promo--she was charming and elegant, scene after scene. Absolutely worth a watch…

Titanic. I remembered how much I loved this one when it was one TV during the 100 year anniversary week <3.

The Princess Diaries. Loved the first movie (and I had all the books which were really good . . . until they started getting out of hand with sequels lol).

The Wizard Of Oz. I just love this movie. We used to watch it every Mother's Day . . . until one random time that my mother revealed she hated that film. Somehow she hadn't noticed it was a tradition? LoL!

Pretty Woman. Such a classic chick flick. I'm not going to lie: despite some of the . . . sketchy undertones . . . I love the optimism of this romance. Two people's lives were changed (somehow). It's definitely worth a watch, I think.

My Fair Lady. I love this musical featuring Audrey Hepburn. Her character is snapped up from her lower-class life and polished so she can pass for a lady. I really enjoy the songs and love the women's fashion (especially the hats lol) in this film :-).
