The Help. My most recent favorite movie. Absolutely LOVE it!
Amazon.com: The Help: Emma Stone, Octavia Spencer, Jessica Chastain, Viola Davis, Bryce Dallas Howard, Allison Janney, Tate Taylor: Movies & TV
I think a major factor in how much relation the movie has to the actual book is reliant on the involvement of the original author of the book... #book #movies
Good Book but Great Movie. It's usually the other way around!

Lowcountry Summer (Lowcountry Tales #7) by Dorothea Benton Frank
Read all of Dorothea Benton Frank's novels and then plan a low country trip with one or more of your best girlfriends. My girlfriend and I have been doing this for the past several years. We call our trips our Mother's Day retreats. We pick a spot in the US (lately the southeast coastal towns), fly from Washington and Montana to that spot, get a rental car and stay in a vacation rental home. We drive all around the area and try to absorb the local culture.
