I loved these brass vessels, found at Crafter's in Cochin/Kochi. We did not get one ... THIS time ... there will be a next time ...

Brass vessels for water abound in India. Styles vary, but in general they end in a kind of truncated point that is easily wrapped in fabric to be carried on the head.
