NeoCrotalic Mexican Art Where "Neo" stands for new and "crotalic" for rattlesnake. The Mayan culture used a sacred pattern called "Canamayte" found in the rattlesnake skin and this theory was applied in each of these artworks by Javier Lopez Pastrana. You are seeing Mexico thorugh this style despite the theme of each artwork.
