Round Hill Hill Park Winter Storm Holiday Sales San Jose Bay Area Past Middle Miniatures

$200 "Mt Pleasant", 8x16, oil on panel, plein . This is from Mt. Pleasant Rd looking west over San Jose and Silicon Valley. The round hill in the middle is Groesbeck Hill Park where I used to walk our Golden Retriever, and our son used to play when he was a kid. In the distant left is downtown San Jose.

$200 "Chaboya", 11x14, oil on panel. Plein Air Fourth in my recent cloud studies from the east San Jose foothills, close to my house. Rather than going out after a storm, I went out yesterday just before an afternoon rain front was coming through. I eventually got rained out and had to finalize it in the studio. This is from the same location as the first in this series, "Atmosphere", but looking in the opposite direction, basically due south. The title is the road I was on.
