This romantic smoky plum eyeshadow look is perfect for any Valentine's Day event. First, apply shade 1 up to your inner crease. Next, apply shade 2 all over your lid, blending into the first shade. Then, line eyes along the lower lash line with shade 3. And to finish the look, use shade 3 to darken corners and connect to the lower lash line for a smokey effect.

Im not one for a lot of color on the eye with makeup. Perhaps because I dont know how to apply it well, or maybe because I cannot pull it off. Maybe its because it makes me look like a streetwalker as Joan Rivers would say. But using neutral colors I am a big fan of. The metallic in this brown lights up the look, and its just enough, not too much.
