Language: CCSS This could be an anchor chart in the language center to give the students support of making sure their sentence is formed correctly and has correct punctuation. CCSS The students would be able to communicate their sentences with a peer.
I created these for my intermediate students and they really bought into it. I started off writing them myself, but as time passed we took the time to learn how to write sincere, detailed praise and thanks and it took off from there. Looks great on coloured paper and taped to the entrance of the classroom door. At the end of the year, pile up each student's 'shout-outs' and present them. I have pinned a couple other templates - for variety on the wall.
It's time to get rid of the mundane folders full of paperwork and give parents a classroom handbook they will actually use! Give parents something they want to take home during Open House, Back to School Night, or Meet the Teacher. Include double the classroom information in half the size. This editable dual tab flip book is just what the teacher ordered! Add a magnet to the back so parents can keep it on their fridge, a place they will see it daily!
