Read it in High School after I saw the musical. I agree, book first, then see the musical! The book is sooo different!

Hinds' Feet on High Places by Hannah Hurnard This book is a beautiful allegory dramatizing the yearning of God's children to be led to new heights of love, joy, and victory. The main character, Much-Afraid, is plaqued by fear and doubt. Travel with her on her spiritual journey through desperate times and difficult places with her two companions, Sorrow and Suffering. Learn how Much-Afraid overcomes her torment and develops the kind of relationship with her Lord that he desires for us all.

Incredible true story! Couldn't put it down!

Really glad I read this one. It's a true story that people should know about!

I remember loving this in high school!
