Blackberry Travel App: This is so convenient because the app stores all of your flight information so you have the most up to date stats for your trip. You can find out the gate, terminal and even if your flight is delayed.
#Pens: Yes it sounds simple, but you would be surprised how many travellers forget to pack these handy tools. You will need them to fill out customs forms, take down information, or even to lend out to a fellow traveller so be sure to pack a few! Plus they are good for passing time by challenging someone to a game of tic tac toe, or for getting digits ;) #traveltip
Headphones. Good for your gadgets so that you can listen in piece in the airport and great to watch movies on the plane. I like the kind with the built in mic because you can also Skype or use as hands free for your phone.
Toms www.toms.ca I heart Toms and find they are an extremely comfortable casual shoe. They are very affordable and super lightweight making them ideal for travelling. There are a lot of varieties and for ever pair of Toms sold, one pair is donated. Not only are you supporting your feet, you are supporting a great cause!
Nexus Card: This frequent travellers card has saved me a ton of time at airports and borders. Only $50 and valid for 5 years, it is one of my biggest recommendations to people who travel a lot between Canada and the USA. The process does take time, as you have to fill out an application and go for an interview with border officials so apply today!
Lightweight Duffle Bag: When I am #travelling and only taking a carry on; or if I am going somewhere where I might be doing shopping/bring back a lot of stuff, I always pack a lightweight duffle bag. I keep it in one of the front pockets in my carry on or luggage but it comes in handy just in case I need some extra room on the way back. Plus if I don't need to use it as luggage it can be a bag to store dirty laundry. #traveltip
