Homemade Dishwasher Detergent...already had the salt, borax and super washing soda on hand, so after buying the Kool-Aid, I spent under $1. Dumped a splash of white vinegar in the bottom of my dishwasher. After trying it for the first time last night, I'm happy to say my dishes came out as clean as they do with Palmolive!

This is crazy. Mix 1/4 c Listerine (any kind but I like the blue), 1/4 c vinegar and 1/2 c of warm water. Soak feet for 10 minutes and when you take them out the dead skin will practically wipe off.

Another pinner says..my carpets are so gross with 3 kids carpet cleaner - Awesome! Should've done before/after pics, but I had 3 almost black stains on my off-white carpet and they came up beautifully! Had to do it twice, but they had been there a LONG time and were really ground in. 2cups hydrogen peroxide and 1/4 cup baking soda. Put in a spray bottle squirt- scrub- vacuum!

CLEAN YOUR MATTRESS: pour about 1 cup of baking soda into a mason jar and drop in 4 drops of lavender essential oil. Put on lid and shake jar. Using a kitchen strainer sprinkle the baking soda mixture all over the mattress and let it sit for an hour or more. Thoroughly vacuum the mattress. Bye, bye dust mites and other nasty things. The baking soda helps draw up any moisture and deep dirtiness. It deodorizes and leaves the mattress smelling fresh and clean.

dishwasher soap - Baking Soda (frugal favorite!) Borax (all-natural household cleaner, available at many stores in the laundry aisle) Mix together equal parts of each ingredient, store in a labeled container Use just like a commercial powdered detergent, approximately 2 TBS per load. That’s it! Each load will cost you mere pennies. (also use vinegar in the jetdry well instead of the expensive stuff) # Pin++ for Pinterest #

THIS REALLY WORKS AND LAUNDRY IS SUPER SOFT!!! Soak a hand towel in fabric softener. Squeeze out any remaining drops from the towel. Hang it over a chair (or outside on a clothes line) to dry. My house smelled super clean for the three days while this towel was drying completely. Yes, it took three days! You must make sure it dries completely! After the towel dries you just throw it in your dryer along with clothes and use it as a dryer sheet for 40-50 loads before soaking again.
