This article discusses the case of Leslie Steiner who suffered domestic violence in a previous relationship. She began experiencing health problems and was unable to pinpoint the cause of the issues. It was not until many years later that her doctor and Leslie determined that the health problems she was suffering could be attributed to the abuse she endured. Domestic Violence help
The National Network to End Domestic Violence and Avon Foundation for Women launched the results of the 2013 National Domestic Violence Census Report at a Congressional Briefing in Washington, D.C. on March 6, 2014. The report found that on any given day, nearly 10,000 requests of victims asking for help cannot be met. Stay tuned for more info from the event.
