Music video by Grindlestone performing "Our Floor With All Its Beliefs" (C) Grindlestone. From the CD "Tone" 2011 Music Composed by Douglas Erickson and Don Falcone Directed by Karen Anderson

An ambient collection . . . from a darker side. Featuring Steven Wilson, Kim Cascone, Don Falcone and more.

FIRECLAN is the reuniting of former member space-rockers Melting Euphoria - Don Falcone, Mychael Merrill and Luis Davila. "Sunrise to Sunset" reinvents space-prog-rock for the post-ambient generation.

SPACESHIP EYES is the solo project of Don Falcone, who played with Spirits Burning, Thessalonians and Melting Euphoria. The music has been decribed as trippy, mesmeric sounds of swirling synths.

QUIET CELEBRATION is a San Francisco-Bay Area-based band that creates an atmospheric mix of ambient, jazz, electronic and ethnic music. The rhythms have a delightful Moroccan-sounding feel, although everything from the synths to the woodwinds to the percussion is all very "ambient" sounding.

THESSALONIANS takes ambient music to a different level with electronic and experimental styles in the trip hop vein. Featuring Kim Cascone, Larry Thrasher, Paul Neyrinck and Don Falcone.

FALCONE & PALMER is a commixture of Don Falcone (Spirits Burning, Thessalonians) and Stephen Palmer (Mooch, Blue Lily Commission) present all-new ambient instrumental music. "Gothic Ships" takes the landscapes of Pink Floyd, The Orb and Eno and turns them inside out. A uniquely fresh interpretation of the ambient music and industrial music genre.

Though he is best known as a well-respected S/F writer and editor, MICHAEL MOORCOCK is a "Rock Poet." Moorcock wrote lyrics for Blue Öyster Cult and Hawkwind (e.g., his spoken-word piece: "Sonic Attack") and founded his own band THE DEEP FIX (with Peter Pavli). Sounds like a Robert Calvert concept album. Genre: Folk and Experimental Rock

GRINDLESTONE began in 1999 with musicians Douglas Erickson (Zesty Enterprise) and Don Falcone (Spirits Burning). Their first single released was on Margen: Music From The Edge Vol. 4 with fellow artists: Steve Roach, Absolute Zero, Vidna Obmana. Deep & evolving work. Very dreamlike. Discography: "one" (2008) and "tone" (2011).
