BUTTERMILK-BLUEBERRY BREAKFAST CAKE ==Ingredients== ½ c unsalted butter, 2 t. lemon zest or more, 7/8 c* + 1 T sugar**, 1 egg, 1 t. vanilla, 2 c flour, 2 t. baking powder, 1 t. kosher salt, 2 c fresh blueberries, ½ c buttermilk*** * 7/8 c = 3/4 c + 2 T ** This 1 T is for sprinkling on top *** To make homemade buttermilk place 1 T of vinegar or lemon juice in a liquid measuring c. full of milk. Let stand for five minutes. Use only 1/2 c of the prepared mixture for the recipe =======
