John Ralston - Born Inch, Wigtonshire, Scotland was baptised 1810 and arrived in Tasmania in 1823 on the "Amity" with his father and other family members.   He married Rachel Wier Hutchison on 10 Apr 1844 at "Cormiston" (near Launceston).  They had three children:  Anna; William Henry and Robert (Gavin).
