Gilbert O'Sullivan - "Alone Again, Naturally"... some of these old school songs are hauntingly dark and stay with you. This one is good when you need a good cry and want to listen to over and over. It was released in 1972 and spent six weeks at #1 on the the US Billboard Hot 100.
"We're All Alone" (1977)... I love a Rita Coolidge song. What a voice. This makes me want to watch "Tales of the City" and "Swingtown" all over again. Everytime I listen to this I play it over and over... and then watch different covers. What's better than a 70's love ballad? "Close the window, calm the light And it will be all right No need to bother now Let it out, let it all begin Learn how to pretend" You know many brokenhearted tears were shed to this song.
