1960s vintage swimming cap, oh how I hated these. I used to have to wear these at Girl Scout Camp and at the YWCA pool and it was mandatory. No bathing cap, NO SWIMMING. :(
1960s vintage swimming cap................In the 50's and 60's, if you went to a public pool, it was required to wear one.
1960s vintage swimming cap - these would tear out hair when you took them off! They were made out of rubber.

Used these before the hand held dryers came out!

First we towel dried our hair and either leaned over the register vents on the floor to dry our hair or rolled our wet hair on rollers and slept on curlers overnight. Next we used the portable bonnet hair dryer before the handheld blow dryers came out.
We used these before the hand held hair blowers were invented. And great big pink rollers to take the waves out of curly hair!!! I always fell asleep on the bed....
We used these before the hand held dryers came out! I used to detach the hose and dry my hair with that. First blow dryer!
I still use the one my mom had. Probably a fire hazzard LOL but it does give you nice curls without having to hold your arms up with a blow dryer.
We used these before the hand held dryers came out! I used to take the hose off the hood and just use the hose.
We used these before the hand held dryers came out! I would take the hose off and use it with a brush... too bad I didn't invent the blow dryer ha
We used these hair dyers at home before the hand held dryers came out! So funny.
Used to love sitting under mom's and grandmas hair dryers

I had a hair dryer like this in the '70s.
70 S Hairdryer, 70S Mine, Childhood Memories, 1970 S, 1970S Hairdryer, Dryer 70S, 80 S
Braun 1970s hairdryer. I had this exact model circa 1979. Loads of nozzles and a round blow drying brush. Never got the hang of blow drying. I haven't owned a hair dryer for over 15 years now!
hair dryer '70s-still had one in a drawer of old stuff growing up--I only remember using it when my newer blow dryer wasn't working...and it was about as useful as an oscillating fan
hair dryer '70s. Mine had a brush attachment you snapped on so you could use it without holding brush and dryer separately. Loved it.
hair dryer '70s. I had one in the 80's, and it had a comb attachment, brush attachment and one other, I can't remember
hair dryer '70s I had the exact same one which burnt out as soon as I plugged it into the socket in Ibiza in 1980
hair dryer '70s. my first blow dryer was like this... you could change the brushes...
hair dryer '70s. Loved this with the brush on it to straighten my hair.
SuperMax hair dryer '70s. It had all kinds of attachments for styling!
hair dryer '70s. Mine was blue.

S & H green stamps. Remember collecting these with Mom and then redeeming at the store on Shields Ave. Fresno, CA
60's S Green Stamps - helped mom lick pages and pages of these to trade in for things we wanted at the Green Stamp Store....
Piggly Wiggly and then a trip to Vidalia to the Green Stamp store to redeem the books of stamps we had collected!
Green stamps--I used to like pasting them into the books. Then you could redeem them for merchandise at the S Green Stamp store.
S & H green stamps... remember licking all the stamps and putting them into the books then going to the S store to spend them
S & H green stamps. Our grocery store (Boys Market) had a dial that would spit out blue and green chip stamps depending on how much you spent. Then we'd lick them and put them in the BCS books and save them up until we had enough to go to the Blue Chip Stamp store and redeem them for something we wanted. The BCS catalog was my "dream book"!
I can remember green stamps, but not all the offerings of them... ahh, the good ole days!
S & H green stamps. Used to watch my mom lick those things and put them in a book
