February 26, 2018 - Long Beach Expo and Ship of Gold Attract Large Crowds

Long Beach week proved to be excellent for most of the dealers as this was easily the best attended Long Beach Expo in many years. Several major displays and events attracted much of the attendees, but the S.S. Central America exhibit was the main attraction. Now known as the �Ship of Gold�, this astonishing presentation was highlighted by over 30 ingots from the most recent salvage; this portion of recovered gold was insured for $40 million....

1909 S $10 Indian Gold PCGS MS66+ CAC sold for $146,875 at the Legend Rare Coin Auctions Regency Auction XXIII in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, October 26, 2017...Also included in this auction was the Crow River Collection of $10 Gold Indians. November 6, 2017 - Regency Sale XXIII Inspires Market Prices

The recently completed Legend Regency Sale XXIII, conducted in Philadelphia at the PCGS Members Show, offered a wide selection of gem coins that were not only some of the highest grades for the dates but true rarities as well. The prestigious 1892 S Morgan Dollar in PCGS MS67 CAC, once part of the Eliasberg-Coronet Collection, brought $470,000. While there are ten coins certified in this grade, there are only two that qualify for the CAC sticker....

1873 $10 Gold Closed 3 AU58 NGC sold for $49,350 at the Heritage Auctions FUN Show U.S. Coins Signature Sale in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, January 4-9, 2017...In the last three years we have monitored eight trades in grades XF40 to AU58 with a price range of $12,750 to $55,000.
