1878 7TF Reverse of 1878 PCGS MS66+ CAC sold for $43,475 at the Legend Rare Coin Auctions Regency Auction 27 in Las Vegas, Nevada, July 26, 2018...The RanJack Collection of nearly completed Morgan Dollars started the sale with some extremely active bidding....with a presale estimate of upwards of $14,000, it finally realized $43,475 with no less than seven active bidders. There are currently 12 coins listed as certified in MS66+, but this coin is CAC approved with none finer at PCGS....

The Heritage Auction also brought out aggressive bidding. The most sought after coin in the sale was the 1895 O Morgan Dollar in NGC PR66 Cameo. This coin is one of only five known and the finest certified to date. All branch mint proofs are rare and this one had numerous buyers interested from start to finish. The price realized was $528,750.
