Albany — NWD / When we were asked to rebrand the well established office furniture company Albany Office Furniture. We took the approach that they needed an identity that was as polished as the brands they sold. Our final design stripped back almost all the design flourishes to leave a brand that is honest, appealing and looks great in any situation whether on a page header or the side of a delivery vehicle. Our web design carries through on the identities strong graphic feel and showcases the brand.

Arami — NWD / We were commissioned to design the interior for Arami, a Bangladeshi restaurant. Arami's beautifully presented food deserved an equally considered setting. A difficult space was divided into a restaurant space and a cosy bar area. We used tilted mirrors to reflect the goings-on around you as you eat, while cool greys, warm chocolate and subdued lighting made this interior stand out in Newcastle's crowded curry house market.

Northumberland Cheese Company — NWD / Northumberland Cheese Company realised that their packaging was not reflecting the hand made nature of their products, and so approached us to create a brand that reflected this. We devised a flexible packaging system that accommodated the differences inherent in hand cut cheese, and paired these with traditional waxed paper and brown cardboard bags and boxes. We also transformed their cheese loft cafe into a warm and inviting space, that reflects their brand.

CafeM — NWD / We were approached by the Milligans group to come up with a branded cafe concept to sell their own range of food products. The brief was to create a brand that would make customers feel comfortable and welcomed. This included every thing from designing and managing the interior fit out of the cafe to the in-store POS and website.

A great restaurant brand starts with a great name, once we'd come up with, 'Charlie Frys', the look and feel of the brand fell in to place as we created a traditional fish and chip shop interior with carefully considered graphics and POS that reinforce the fresh fish feel.
