Seriously cute & easy, too. Easy enough for my elementary-age child. Great for Valentines Day, as a counter-down chain until a happy event, as decor for a birthday party, or just because. Well written short tutorial. heart valentine paper chain DIY by becksorange BIRTHDAY SO DOING SOO!

Patina Everything! vinegar, white or apple cider salt, just regular old salt out of my shaker. For small items. I fill a quart yogurt container half full of vinegar, and sprinkle in some salt. (not measured, but guess 1 tsp.??) dump your keys, clips, hinges, watch parts, locks... any metal you want to 'age'. I leave them over night, just 'cause it is convenient. Seal if you touch items a lot

Turn mints into a serving tray! Just arrange on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, and bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. Then let completely cool at room temperature. After your party, break and keep in a candy jar! Great idea for a plate of cookies you don't have to get back. Love this for delivering Christmas cookies.
