Evolution screwed you up :) The "Dumbo octopus" of the genus Grimpoteuthis have ear-like fins protruding from the top of their head-like bodies, resembling the ears of Walt Disney's flying elephant Dumbo. They are bathyal creatures, living at extreme depths of 3,000 to 4,000 meters with some living up to 7,000 meters below sea level, the deepest of any known octopus. This one is pretty funny-looking!
