Taken at a Hindu/Catholic wedding in San Francisco. (This is a stylish fun Catholic crowd!) So beautiful!

We wear masks so that we may discover the vulnerability in removing them.

New mask search for Mary Antoinette party. Quite like this black lace mask makeup. Beautiful attention to detail and very fine lines to make this work! Love the black and white contrast of mask to skin and the pop of color with the lips. An elegant look.

Henna

Henna and teal blue indian wedding dress and heels. the dress is beautiful and the shoes are amazing!

Still from Aleksandr Sokurov’s Russian Ark, notable for being filmed in a single, 96 minute-long take. No breaks. Traversing 300 years of Russian history and culminating with a spectacular ballroom dance sequence, it is an entrancing film.

She carries fragrant blossoms in the folds of her skirt, the garden dances in her fabrics. We like that her outfit is decidedly NOT oriental, yet her surroundings lend a sacred stillness to the subtle quietude of her clothing.

Love the dress, but I'd ditch the jacket. Josefine Ekman Nilsson by Joel Rhodin for Elle Sweden, July 2011

Ignite the Phoenix. We love this fiery goddess gown and its subtle (and likely unintended) revelation of the sleeping Droplet of Fire at the core of each of us. Where is your fire burning?
