Picnic Palace's Classic Crown Sewing Pattern
This crown is such a fun, infinitely-customizable project that's perfect for your Halloween costumes, Mardi Gras looks, Renaissance Faire garb, and much, much more. I've been making these hats for four years now, and I'm thrilled to share all my trade secrets with you. The finished crown has a diameter of around 22", but it's very adjustable due to the elastic in the back. It's 12" tall. Pattern printing instructions: Print the file on any home printer at 100% scale, and verify that it printed correctly by measuring the 2"x2" test square. Tape the sheets of paper together using the registration marks to align them properly. See the diagram on the first page of the instruction booklet to figure out which pages connect to which.
