Barefoot Contessa Hummus--I have yet to find a hummus recipe that turned out good. I'm wondering if the cheapo Kroger tahini I bought was the problem.anyone else have a good/bad experience making hummus?
A Crowd Favorite: Feta Dip - from Clover Lane: I thought I’d share this awesome super easy no-cook appetizer that has always been a hit. This is that ONE recipe that I always get asked for the most. And it’s ridiculously, embarrassingly easy.
hummus spinach dip: This Was AWESOME! Maybe better than regular spinach dip! I used a container of Sabra traditional store bought hummus. I also tossed in about a can (drained) of artichoke hearts in with food processor with the spinach.
Bakes zucchini fries and 'bloomin onion' dipping sauce. Substitute non-fat greek yogurt for the mayo. Made - Used mayo, although the greek yogurt might cut the sweetness, as the dip was a little too sweet. LOVED the zucchini as did Jake year old)
*I tried it and will do it again!* Caprese Dip: fresh mozzarella (cut into cubes), one pkg cherry tomatoes (cut in half), handful fresh basil (slice into strips). Bake at 350 degrees until melted and bubbly. Serve with french bread.
Better than 7 layer dip.Mediterranean Layer Dip Spread-Hummus across bottom of shallow dish. Layer with diced tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, roasted red peppers Sprinkle with crumbled feta. Garnish with fresh basil. Serve with whole grain pita chips.
