Emergency shelter concept that is quite nice. It makes me wonder who the target market is for. Seems that this shelter, while accommodating the essentials, is geared for local and western emergencies and not international concerns. I'd love to read your feedback on the practicality or impracticality of this design. Design should include a degree of implementation ease.

Cool balance that expresses weight by the brightness of light. So, how many grams of is a lighter shade of pale? Neat idea, but highly impractical. If you create a product that has novelty but is impractical, how do you market it? Again, cool design. Not worth much on my kitchen counter-top.

This house in Osaka Japan appears as a giant interlocking augment to urban block. I am strangely attracted to the external styling, but the interior (perhaps due to the vacant space) is stark and cold. Regardless, I love the space use. Can't imagine living in this place or next door during a hail storm.

Anti-drone hoodie worn by Tom Meltzer. With the advent of drone technology to observe citizens, it should come as no surprise that somebody would design something to become 'invisible' to the eye in the sky. Technology breeds technology.

When I saw these shoes I was reminded of a creature from (I think) Silent Hill. It may have been a Guillermo del Toro creature. Great for movie props.

slingshot clever tea mug. Don't fiddle with that tea bag until you are finished with your drink. Like the idea.

Some extreme curves and cavernous spaces make this home in Warsaw, Poland a truly unique sight to behold. The Swing House was designed by architect Dagmara Obluska, who believes that home should be a place where one feels free to breathe deeply and enjoy every moment of being there.

Horizontal shower. The German company Dornbracht has six programmable shower heads that deliver everything from a steady stream to an articulated water massage. Like a more conventional shower, drains in the floor discreetly carry off water that pours over the edge. (Cool idea, but some aspects of the design seem flawed. 1. Laying naked on a hard surface is uncomfortable. 2. The stream only hits certain parts of the body. 3. Laying on my back would feel like waterboarding.)

Obag side door luggage. I wonder how it is for space management

An office nap pod....you know you want one. That place to escape in the afternoon for a quick brain/body refresh. Mmmmm
