Three colors of light -red, blue, and green- are the primary colors to which they respond to the three cones in the retina. The primary pigment color depend on the wavelength of the light that it reflects. The pigment both absorb and reflects a range of colors by sending a single color message to your eye

Light-Dispersion Experiments for Kids
Light refraction is the bending of light, or the change in direction of the rays as it moves past a boundary. For example, when light crosses through a window, it is refracted and can create a rainbow. A prism illustrates this theory. As light passes through the prism, it refracts and separates into an entire spectrum, or rainbow, of light. Introducing this concept to preschoolers can be done by experimenting with prisms or by a simple project using a glass of water and a piece of white paper.

See the Science of Sound: This would be a fun science activity for my students to work on together. Allowing them to use their hands and experiment with the sounds they make would allow them to be more interested in the subject. Seeing the sugar crystals move by themselves after saying their name will definitely catch their attention.

Popsicle sticks craft
2 Popsicle Sticks (we used the wide ones). 2 Rubber Bands. A strip of paper the same size as the Popsicle Stick. 2 toothpicks cut just wider than the Popsicle Stick. Sandwich the paper strip in between the 2 Popsicle Sticks. Wrap a rubber band around one end until it is snug. Slide a toothpick to the inside of the rubber band. Put other toothpick at the other end of the Popsicle sticks, and wrap with a rubber band. Place one toothpick on top of the paper and one toothpick under the paper.
