"I think [the corbels] make all the difference. For only sixty-four dollars I was able to create a real designer look. Once installed, I gave the backsplash and corbels two coats of paint to give it a seamless finish. I trimmed every edge [of the cabinets with beadboard & molding]." - The Empty Nest via Remodelaholic
I am SO doing this for my cabinet doors !!! Faux Tin Tile wallpaper on Cabinet doors. Sprayed with Krylon’s Bright Metallic Silver. The glazed by mixing 1/3 of black paint with 2/3 of Ralphs Lauren’s glaze to paint over the door.
I haven't seen a better photograph that TRULY epitomizes how to refurbish something...Look at this door you would NEVER know it was a very outdated 1980's oak kitchen cabinet door! I have the same oak cabinets!! using the rope detail is brilliant!!
