The terrifically colorful roosters are one of my all time favorite projects...theyre inspired by Picassos Le Coq...and I think all of the students were channeling his creativity when they worked on these. I would frame each and every one of them...love...love...love the results!
Chagall lesson: Artistry in glass Stained glass by Chagall Using the stained glass work of Marc Chagall as inspiration, students created colorful panels on clear acrylic (plexiglass) using tissue paper collage. We discussed the dreamy-like quality of Chagall's work as well as the symbolism he used. Students chose a theme and created a single shape based on their central idea.
