A REAL Lavender for the South! Sweet!
Lavandula x intermedia 'Phenomenal' (lavender)
Grosso Lavender variety will supposedly live and prosper in NC.

Plant Profile for Lavandula × intermedia ‘Phenomenal’ - Hybrid Lavender Perennial
Lavandula × intermedia ‘Phenomenal’ | They generally flower in midsummer, a little later than the English types. Exceptional winter survival, as it does not have the winter die back that other varieties commonly demonstrate. Good tolerance to extreme heat and humidity, and resistant to common root and foliar diseases.
