oil painting by Jeremy Geddes: A Perfect Vacuum
New Zealand’s artist, who moved to Melbourne, Australia, craft stunning pictures of real objects and people, but the combination of them quite unnatural. Jeremy Geddes prefers painting by using oil paint, and his paintings are seems to be real. On the first look at his paintings , we can see quite familiar landscapes or interiors. But it is only at first glance. When you look in details, you will notice that the man in the suit at one of the street lamps or broken window shards flew into the room are unnatural. Take a look at incredible hyperrealistic surreal paintings.

Joan Crawford. Talk about a bitch on wheels. I would never want to accidentally mess up her closet, but I do love her movies. "Mildred Pierce", "Possessed" and "Daisy Kenyon" are my favorites. Christina.....BRING ME THE AX!

Werth just can't let March 23rd go by without wishing his favorite dead celeb a Happy Birthday! Whether little Lucille Fay LeSueur was born in 1908 (like she told everyone), 1905 (what IMDB says) or 1906 (what Crawford historian Neil Maciejewski believes), Joan Crawford's appeal is ageless... except perhaps to Christina. Happy Birthday Joan Crawford!

A vision of cities in 1950, according to Popular Science Monthly in 1925. Besides being dominated by pedestrians and necessitating emissions-free cars (which they were certain electric vehicles would easily do) they also predicted that airplanes would be second to inflatable dirigibles, which were more fuel efficient.
The August, 1925 issue of Popular Science Monthly suggested how urban congestion problems might be solved by the year 1950. Most of what is proposed in this picture is physically possible, but the fact that they thought it could be done in 25 years is strange. "it seems Le Corbusier wasn't thee only with a radiant city plan"
Ever wonder how folks envisioned “The Future” in the 1920s? This amazing image from Popular Science Monthly, August 1925, shows what Americans “May Live to See” in the year 1950.
