1580-1610 Museo del Traje. Faltriquera. L=21cm W= 25 Slit: 12,5cm. Silk, with silk lining, with wool batting. Gold applicque embroidery + gold lace.

Knitted silk purse, probably Italian circa 1550 CE. The body was knitted in stockinette, and the edges finished with purl. Accession Number: SHM.2010.T1 The Simone Handbag Museum, Korea.
