This week of March 16th, Toledo Preparatory and Fitness Academy would like to recognize Ms. Hoffman's 2nd grade class as winners of the Golden Shoe!! They did a fantastic job shooting with the inside of their foot during soccer game play and it resulted in plenty of goals. Great job 2nd grade!
Hats off to Columbus Prep and Fitness Academy staff for their teacher inspired bulletin board dedicated to our middle schoolers and their parents. This space serves as but one important reminder that our students deserve the very best in high school and beyond, and that our students are prepared for top high schools as a result of their K-8 experience in a Performance Academies school.

The week of February 2nd-6th Golden Shoe for Toledo Preparatory and Fitness Academy goes to Miss. Royster's kindergarten B class for outstanding effort and participation during tennis drills and skills. Students have been working hard on drop serves and understanding the rules of the game in preparation of mini tennis game play. Great job kindergarten!
The week of February 9th-13th Golden Shoe for Toledo Preparatory and Fitness Academy goes to Miss. Fravel's 7th grade class for understanding proper court position and how to use different strategies in singles tennis game play. Serve and volley or pushing are a few strategies that students work on this week and were able to perform during game play. Great job 7th grade!
The week of February 16th golden shoe winner for Toledo Preparatory and Fitness Academy goes to Mrs. Brighty's 6th grade class. Students did an outstanding job performing this weeks soccer goal during game play. Students were able to pass and receive the soccer ball with both feet consistently during game play. Great job 6th graders!
The week of March 2nd we would like to congratulate Miss. Gauthier's 1st grade class for understanding new toss tennis concepts which will help them learn how to keep score and play mini tennis by the rules. They did a fantastic job of understanding and performing toss tennis with minimal assistance. Great job 1st graders!
Toledo Preparatory and Fitness Academy would like to congratulate Mr. Allen's 5th grade class for receiving the Golden Shoe for the week of March 9th. Students have been working hard to improve their scores on iTennis assessments throughout the year. Results have shown not only that they have improved their scores but game play has become more competitive as well. Keep up the great work 5th grade!
