Isn't Nature amazing?! Looks like a butterfly... now tilt you head to the right, do you see the praying monk?

Astronomy Picture of the Day: 8/19/12 - Eagle Nebula in False Color This close up, false-color image of the Eagle nebula captures one of its stellar nurseries. The Eagle nebula is about 6,500 light-years from Earth, making it one of our closest stellar nurseries. The XMM-Newton, imaging X-rays, worked in conjunction with Herschel’s far infrared seeing capabilities to capture this stunning image. Unfortunately, astronomers have found the remnants of a supernova inside
A new look at the Pillars This picture of the Eagle Nebula, released Jan. 17, combines a far-infrared view from the Herschel Space Observatory with an X-ray view from XMM-Newton to show how the hot young stars detected by the X-ray observations are sculpting and interacting with the surrounding ultra-cool gas and dust, which provide the critical material for star formation. — TODAY.com
The Eagle Nebula. Combining almost opposite ends of the electromagnetic spectrum, this composite of the Herschel in far-infrared and XMM-Newton’s X-ray images shows how the hot young stars detected by the X-ray observations are sculpting and interacting with the surrounding ultra-cool gas and dust, which, at only a few degrees above absolute zero, is the critical material for star formation itself. Both wavelengths would be blocked by Earth’s atmosphere, so are critical to our understanding of the lifecycle of stars. phantom mask neutron star, spinning in space-formed 10K yrs ago, after blast. The super dense pulsar spins more than11a second, shooting out particles @70% speed of light. At that speed, the particles could bridge the gap between Earth & Moon within 2 seconds. It's wobbling on it's axis like a top, or precessing, as it spins. 2013

The Face of Fragrance | "I know a 'face' where the wild thyme blows, Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows, Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine, With sweet musk-roses and with eglantine.” | William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night's Dream | Mother Nature
Optical Illusion Art Pictures
Mother natures beauty
The female face is in the open space between the tall trees with the lower branch forming the mouth. The face jumped right out at me in this one.
Tree Face. This pretty optical illusion looks like a photography picture taken of some trees on a cloudy day. However the placement of the branches and leaves makes up the face of a young girl in the sky.
Nature’s lovely photos. See the face?
