    Mushroom Venison Stroganoff~I've deer hunted since I was a little girl, and have developed a way to get rid of any gamey taste, and make even an OLD buck fork tender. 1) cut up Venison for your recipe; cover with cold water-add 2 TBS sea salt & 2 TBS white vinegar, stir & Refrig. for 6 hrs. Drain & rinse meat well. 2) Cover venison with Milk, add 1/4 cup white sugar, stir & Refrig. overnight. Rinse, pat dry, & use in your recipe. It pulls blood out, tenderizes & gets rid of ALL the gamey taste.
