DIY Home DIY Decor DIY Crafts: How to Make Turquoise Ombre Wall - maybe a different color

  • Britney Sweet

#DIY #Ombre Walls | STEP 1: Trim wall w/painter’s tape & use a roller to paint entire wall the lightest hue. STEP 2: Paint a bottom panel w/the darkest hue. STEP 3: Mix your medium & dark shade together to create the 2nd darkest color & paint a section. Next, move up on the wall & paint the 3rd section the middle color only. STEP 4: Blend the colors together using a smaller paint brush that is DRY, until areas & lines bleed together. You may need to touch up with mixed paint as you go- I WANT!

DIY Ombre Wall - just grab a paint color swatch in ur fave color from the paint store, and grab a quart of each color (or every other color depending on how much u want it to pop).

Ombre wall. Love the subtlety here. Very gradual movement of colors. This is beautiful and I'm not a pink person. But great idea. This would add light to my wall, movement. Without being garish and obvious. I don't want a paint chip on my wall or furniture for goodness sake.

Painted wood floor: fill in any large gouges or scrapes, and sand the entire floor lightly. you can use nearly any paint on the floor, but if you're concerned about it rubbing off with traffic, talk to the people in the paint store/department. you can also get clear acrylic sealer to paint over the floor once it's dried and once cured, it'll protect the paint job.

DIY. Evenly space painters tape to a wall. Paint rectangles different coordinated colors.
