    Strawberry and Almond Smoothie - 1 heaped cup (7 ounces / 200 grams) quartered hulled strawberries, 1 tablespoon almond powder (also known as almond flour) or finely ground almonds (6.5 grams), 1 drop almond extract, 1/2 ripe banana, 1 cup buttermilk, 1 teaspoon honey-- Place all of the ingredients in a blender, with ice cubes if desired, and blend at high speed until smooth.
