Banana Peanut Butter or Banana Almond Smoothie 1 medium or large banana, preferably frozen, sliced 2/3 cup low-fat milk or almond milk 2 tablespoons smooth or chunky unsweetened, unsalted peanut butter or roasted almond butter 1/2 teaspoon honey A couple of drops of almond extract or vanilla 1. Place all of the ingredients in a blender, along with a few ice cubes if the bananas have not been previously frozen, and blend until smooth. Yield: One serving.
I want to try this! :) First you’ll need a blender…put 1/3 cup of oats or oatmeal into your blender and blend that into a powder. Next, you toss in two frozen bananas (make sure they are chopped up), 1 cup of milk, and 1/3 cup of peanut butter and blend until smooth and creamy. Heaven!
